The Group closed its weekly meetings in March of 2020 and  sat out the initial Lock down as many other groups did.   

 

There had been 2 exhibitions planned for the year. The first was the Broughton Fete days in June when the Group were to hold their second exhibition in the village hall. The second was the usual Annual Exhibition held at the end of October.

 

Many of the members continued to draw and paint, but many others, lacking the encouragement of others not so much!

 

It was eventually decided that to encourage all to keep  their skill levels high, we would introduce a 'challenge' programme. This comprises of those wishing to participate producing a work in line with a theme chosen by one of the Group. This started in September, and below are the efforts of those participating.
